1. Service Description

Dev Monke is an AI-powered coding assistant that responds to commands in GitHub issues and pull requests. The App can read code, make commits, post comments, and perform other actions on repositories where it is installed.

2. Subscription and Billing

• Subscriptions are managed through GitHub Marketplace
• Each plan includes a monthly usage cap (cost limit)
• Usage is measured by AI compute cost per task
• When you reach your cap, the App will decline new tasks until your billing period resets
• Unused capacity does not roll over to the next period
• Refunds are handled according to GitHub Marketplace policies

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dev Monke to:

• Generate malicious code, malware, or security exploits
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
• Reverse engineer or extract the AI models

4. Code Ownership

• You retain ownership of your code and repositories
• Code generated by Dev Monke belongs to you
• We do not claim any rights to your code or the AI-generated output
• You are responsible for reviewing and testing any code changes made by the App

5. AI Limitations

Dev Monke uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate code. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated code may contain bugs or security issues
• The App may not always understand your intent correctly
• You should review all changes before merging to production
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of any output

6. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime
• The App depends on GitHub and Anthropic APIs which may experience outages
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for any code changes made by the App that cause issues

8. Termination

• You can uninstall the App at any time through GitHub
• We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be announced via GitHub or email.
